On our Easter week-end, we drove down to the Technik museum in Sinsheim. The autobahn was flooded with vehicles , probably al headed to different holiday destinations. With a toddler in tow, museums aren't the best travel programs but the Sinsheim museum is heaven for a kid into cars and trucks!. My 23 month old was introduced to helicopters, planes, jets, rockets, space shuttles and racing cars.To cater to irritable toddlers there is also a nice play area in front of the museum which is without any entry fee. The highlight of our visit was climbing up on board a Concord plane, mounted onto the roof of the museum. Overall, it was a wonderful family time together.
